NASA is recruiting venture experts to participate in the judging process.  Venture experts must be US based and will be required to have a minimum of two or more of the following:

1. Experience supporting and working with startups led by Founders from historically excluded communities

2. Validated experience supporting and mentoring Deep Tech startups

3. Subject matter expertise in Lunar and/or Climate Science focused entrepreneurship 

4. Expertise with venture building from Pre-Seed through Growth Stage as a Co-Founder or early employee 

5. Former experience as a Founder of a Deep Tech startup with a dual-use business model

6. Former experience winning SBIR/STTR awards and commercializing the supported technologies

7. Accreditation and recent experience investing in Deep Tech startups 

8. Background as an entrepreneur from a historically excluded community

Volunteer judges will be required to commit 10-15 hours to the evaluation process in July 2023 as well as participate in a training call in June 2023.

 

We encourage applications from historically excluded communities, especially women, members of underrepresented minority groups, and persons with disabilities. The final panel will be selected to ensure programmatic balance.
